Harley-Davidson® Custom Vehicle Operations™ pulls out all the stops to build machines in limited numbers for riders who want it all right from the factory. Since its inception in 1999, Harley-Davidson® CVO™ has chosen a small number of its factory-line models and created limited-edition customizations with more powerful engines, spectacular paint designs, and accessories not often found on mainstream models.

What Sets a Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Motorcycle Apart?

Though they carry higher retail price tags, these bikes come with enough components and customizations to more than make up for the difference. Other special features found in the CVO™ lineup include performance upgrades from Harley-Davidson® Screamin' Eagle® branded parts, additional hand painting details, ostrich leather seats, gold leaf paint, and the ever-evolving menagerie of electronics like GPS, wireless audio and music players, and remote starters.

CVO™ models are produced in the Harley-Davidson® York, PA plant, which is where Touring and Softail® models are also built. The larger-displacement engines produced for CVO™ models eventually make it into the "big twin" line after a few years, and many of the custom accessories are available in updated catalogs for later years. Badging and paint schemes are exclusive for CVO™ owners and can't be replaced or redone without proof of ownership.

CVO™ Models

Harley-Davidson® has three CVO™ touring models available for 2018, all of which debut a 1919 cc Milwaukee-Eight® engine, the largest stock displacement ever offered by Harley-Davidson®. First up is the CVO™ Street Glide®, with upwards of 125 lb-ft of torque and a 900-watt BOOM!™ Box sound system. Choose one of three new premium paint schemes that forego extra chrome for a sinister blacked-out look.

The 2018 CVO™ Road Glide® is a bagger with serious swagger, offering the same 117ci Milwaukee-Eight engine and a 600-watt BOOM!™ Box 6.5GT audio system with an accompanying wireless headset. These bikes also feature the first Harley-Davidson® factory-installed 21-inch Knockout front wheel is covered by a sleek front fender for an unforgettable look.

Finally, the CVO™ Limited is a premium touring machine with best-in-class power and the ultimate in rider comfort. Dual bending valve Showa front suspension and a rear suspension with remote preload adjuster will make any long-distance ride comfortable, and that's not even counting the heated hammock seats with custom stitching. The package is complete with BOOM!™ Box 6.5GT audio and infotainment system, remote locking luggage, Tour-Pak® carrier LED bezel, LED indicators, and tire pressure monitoring system.
